When the Round Robin class runs smoothly, it can be a deeply rewarding experience. Many Robins might even call it an addictive experience. They return to the class again and again because of the structure, because of the rules and accountability. However, when rules are not followed, the class is not nearly as effective. Everyone in the class has to show up not only for themselves and their writing but for each other. Showing up means doing writes and responding generously to a partner every day. When all of us show up, we inevitably put ourselves in a position to improve our writing and widen our writing community.
